Spoken word poetry has been a part of life at The Greenwich for quite some time. We have hosted weekly poetry sessions for the past several years, featuring groups such as the 144k Poets, RaRa Enterprises and "Deeper Than Color," a literary club from Dayton. The poetry feature "Lyrical Insurrection" was recognized in 2005 as "Best in the City" by both CityBeat (the leading alternative paper) and Cincinnati Magazine. Our current Wednesday feature is known as "Midnight Sun Cafe & Jam Session". This weekly feature provides opportunities for emerging spoken word, musical and and other performing artists.
